Location: New Albany is located at approximately the midpoint on Indiana's southern boundary, the Ohio River. She sits in a cluster of three cities, which includes Clarksville and Jeffersonville. Louisville, Kentucky, the main city in the metropolitan area of about one million, is directly across the river.
